We worked with underground and overhead infrastructure, using several different technologies to test and install signal. This was largely about learning how these machines work and I was involved in material handling and mixing, tool changing and minor setting on the machines themselves. Working on the Port Mann bridge project for two summers as a shotcrete and shoring laborer and superstructure carpenters laborer respectively. I was trained in many of the equipment we needed to use varying from hand tools all the way to man-lift and fall protection training. I was enrolled in the defensive driving course and was able to move their big vehicles on site. Warranty and parts manager and sales for their Sea-Ray and Boston Whaler new product. My duties were to organize, inventory and maintain parts for these products. Due to the size of the company I was often the stand in Service manager in the repair and maintenance department of the company. I was promoted to the rigging department as the rigging coordinator for new and used boats overseeing four employees and maintaining inventory and warranty repairs. At yearly boat shows I was involved in construction of the largest booth at the boat-show and also sales of the Boston Whaler boat line.
