The Village of Tinley Park is one of the fastest-growing cities in the Midwest, and it’s easy tounderstand why so many people want to call Tinley

Park home.

The Village is ideally located in the southwest suburbs ofChicago, where residents can find that perfect balance ofsmall-town charm and big-city amenities. With apopulation of approximately 57,000, the Village is notexactly a small town, but it maintains the sense ofcommunity found in towns with much smallerpopulations.

Recently, Tinley Park was named “The Best Place to RaiseYour Kids in Illinois” by BusinessWeek magazine, and thattitle really says it all. According to the magazine, “Safety, along with school test scores, air quality, and affordability, were weighted especially highly in this year’s calculations. But we also considered job growth, diversity, and amenitiessuch as museums, parks, and theaters.”

Real estate research blog Movoto recently released a studynaming Tinley Park the ninth-best “small” city in Americain which to move. The study utilized demographic andother data the site collected from about 100 U.S. cities withpopulations of less than 60,000. Six criteria in total weresurveyed, including cost of living, crime, medianhousehold income, unemployment rate, median homeprice and homes for sale per capita.

Tinley Park is a great place to call home or just to come fora visit. With leading entertainment venues, a thrivingbusiness community, top-rated schools and an ideallocation, it’s tough to beat life in Tinley Park.
