Toddler Through Twos

Toddlers have a grow ing need for independence w ithin predictable routines and defined boundaries. The

daily class schedules provide for many opportunities for creative exploration, w here children begin to

develop cognitive skills, use creativity and grow in self-confidence. A strong emphasis is placed on language

development through storytelling, music, social interaction and dramatic play. Many opportunities throughout

the day allow for the children to develop their small and large motor skills w hile in the classroom and at the

playground.
