The number of the water fixtures in the house and the volume of hot waterstorage, expressed in litres, are the two main parameters to take into consider-ation when purchasing a boiler.

It is possible to program the availability of hot water with the maximumflexibility following the needs of the user.The Programming functions allow the user to have hot water exactly atthe time he needs it.The user can decide when he needs hot water and, the machineitself calculates backwards the heating start time so that at the setted time the tank will be full of hot water and ready to be used.As the machine knows exactly the “shower times” it can reduce theenergy consumption (-10% energy consumption).

ECO is a software that maximizes energy saving by learning the user consumptions habits. In particular, it optimizes the production of hot water and minimizes energy waste. Thanks to its smart system ECO learns the user habits, memorising cyclically in the electronic card when and how much hot water is used.

Then, it will be ready for the use according to the quantities and time in which the user usually needs hot water.To face possible extra withdrawals, ECO will always keep a minimumsafety temperature (45°C) to guarantee the availability of some hot water.In this way, ECO allows to save up to 10% energy consumption.

A more sustainable future means first of all helping the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.It has been estimated that the installation of 1.000 water heaters with the ECO function would avoid emitting 130 tons of CO2/year into the atmosphere for producing electricity. The same result would be obtained by planting 235 new trees.

Using together the new ECO function and the programmationthe new products are able to give up to 20% energy saving compared toa traditional water heater. NANOMIX SYSTEM

The Nanomix system, with its new deflectors of watercoming in, allows to produce up to 10% of hot water morethan a traditional water heater with the same capacity.At the end of every heating cycle there will be up to15 lt. more of water at 40°C. This water can be usedby the users to improve their comfort.

NANOMIX TECHNOLOGY

During the use, every withdrawal of hot water from the water heater is then balanced by cold water coming in. The Nanomix technology avoids that the water coming in makes the one inside cold. Thanks to a special deflector, Nanomix allows the water to mix more slowly, keeping in this way the internal temperature high and avoiding that the water heater turns on uselessly.

ANTI-FREEZINGSYSTEM

If the water heater is connected toelectricity, the heating element starts working when the temperature of stored water decreases below 5°C. With this system we can avoid possible breaks due to the expansion caused by the freezing of the water inside the water heater.

AUTO-DIAGNOSTICSSYSTEM

In case of failure, the water heatershows on the frontal led control panel which type of problem occurred. This allows a faster maintenance operation.

ANTI-LEGIONELLASYSTEM

ANTI-DRYSYSTEM

The water stored favours the spread of legionella bacteria. To ensure maxi-mum safety and hygiene, the new Ariston products with ABS package are supplied with the anti-legionella system.If the water stored in the water heater never reaches 65° C for 30 days in a row, this function does a complete heating cycle at that temperature to clean the water.

It is a protection system that allows the water heater not to turn on if there isn’t any water in the boiler. In this way, the internal overheating and the following break of the internal components are avoided. This system guarantees a safer installation and maintenance, that can be done also by less expert.
