Introduction The Two courses are specifically designed for the graduates of BEng (Hons) in Fire Engineering PLUS MSc in Fire Safety Engineering awarded by UCLan. According to the information published by the HKIE, the above-mentioned graduates are required to top up with two modules in Heating Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) and Building Electrical Systems offered by CityU SCOPE in order to meet one of the academic requirements for entering the BS Discipline of the HKIE. Deadline of Application: 10 August 2018 (Friday) Duration of the Courses: 9 October 2018 to 18 January 2019 Examination Period: 28 January 2019 to 1 February 2019 Class Schedules Each of the two courses consists of 42 contact hours. Classes will be conducted on Tuesday and Friday evenings (Except public holidays ), 6:45pm to 9:45 pm Teaching Venues Classes will be mainly scheduled in SCOPE Tsim Sha Tsui East Learning Centre OR SCOPE Learning Centre located at Kowloon Tong Assessment and Award The Assessment of the two courses consist of both Coursework and Examinations. Students must attain the minimum pass grade (40%) in both coursework and examination in order to pass the course as a whole and must achieve an overall attendance of not less than 70%.
