McBusted tour posterMise-en-scene
All the band members in the poster are jumping in a
different way. This connotes that they are all individuals and
that they shouldnt be classed as one when they all have
individual lives. Also the smear of red behind the band
members jumping connotes that they are united as the red
streak doesnt move past the band members. This could also
connote that they are creative a this marking is usually
associated with paint and art. The text denoted is in a poster
print, which is a stereotypically masculine type of font. Thisconnotes that McBusted are aiming to appeal to a male
teenage/young adult demographic through the colour
scheme as red, black and white is typically a male colour. This
links to Surveillance as the male audience will be drawn in by
the colours and will want to find out more information.
Camera The shot of the band is a mid shot as the audience arent able to see them from head
to toe. None of them are looking at the camera as they are jumping in the air. Also,
they have all been placed horizontally, this connotes that they are all equal and no one
is better than the other and no other band member is held in higher regard or more
important than the other members. This means that there is a perfect equilibrium in
Todorovs theory. This therefore also links into Barthes enigma theory as the audiencewill be wondering how the band have managed to stay equal and fair to each other.

Olly Murs Tour PosterMise-en-scene
Olly is wearing a Stripes red and white top, immediately theaudience can see that this is to link it to the area where thedifferent tour dates are as this is in a red and white stripedpattern as well. The text on this poster again is verysimplistic, and again looks more masculine. This couldconnote that Olly is trying to appeal to a male demographic, which may not be his primary demographic. The tour posterhas a frame on it, which makes it look as if it were a posterthat has been stuck to a tree or lamp post. This makes theposter more unique as it gives it, its own creative slant. Also
as Olly isnt giving direct address, this could be connoted asmysterious and could appeal to a female demographic. Thislinks into the female gaze as Olly would appeal to the femaledemographic and therefor sell more tickets for the tour.
Camera
A mid shot is denoted of Olly and he is looking to the side. This could connote that Olly, is thinking about other thingsaside from the tour, from this the audience will be curiousas to why Olly isnt giving direct address. This relates toBarthes enigma theory as the audience will be askingquestions as to why Olly is placed how he is and why he wasplaced like that to which the audience would have to find theanswers out for themselves.
