DESCRIPTION

All the faces, cultures and flavors of Peru gather together in its capital city. Christened as the City of Kings by its Spanish founders back in 1535, Lima was the jewel of the Colonial Americas, and the churches, convents and mansions in the Historic Center can attest that richness of yesteryear. Lima’s pre-Hispanic legacy is also remarkable for it was a place of worshipping of singular transcendence. This is a city that lives and breathes by the sea, which is modern, entertaining and, above all, gourmet. Its restaurants, both the traditional and those that serve fusion cuisine, transform a visit into a delight to the senses. El Callao, its proud port city, also owns architectural and natural treasures. Seafood cuisine is its signature specialty.
