Dear St. Matthews Area Residents:

The City of St. Matthews continues to attract homeowners and businesses alike because of the ambiance and vitality of the city. Homes remain in high demand and businesses continue to relocate within our boundaries. Among the amenities that come with living in our city, state-of-the-art medical care is provided by three area hospitals. Additionally, excellent medical services are provided close to your home and St. Matthews businesses. Our parks remain a dynamic part of the community where family and friends gather to take advantage of the walking paths. The Community Center Park will have a new stand-alone concession stand and restrooms when the spring leagues begin in early 2014.

The Community Street Festival held in May of each year continues to grow, affirming the enjoy-ment of the people of this area. In late October, the Halloween in Brown Park event will be held and over 2,000 children will be delighted by the treats. The Community Pride Breakfast, an annual event honoring those who have made significant contributions to the health and well-being in this area, will
