CONTENT ITINERARIES for the

Train-the-OSHE-trainer: 4 levels to effective OSHE trainer. (2-Day COURSE)

DAY 1 (9.00AM-10.30AM)Topic 1: Defining and developing OSHE training methodologies.

Learning Outcome: Participants should be able to define, develop and create the basis and reasons for OSHE training for workers and workplaces.

DAY 1 (10.45AM-11.45AM)Topic 2: Effective versus Ineffective trainers and training sessions.

Learning Outcome: Participants should be able to describe and evaluate the effective and ineffective trainers as well as training sessions.

DAY 1 (2.00PM-3.30PM)Topic 3: What does OSHA 1994 Regulations say about OSHE training.

Learning Outcome: Participants will be able to define, identify, evaluate and determine ways to comply with OSHA 1994 on training and education.

DAY 1 (3.45PM-5.00PM)Topic 4: Step by step process for completing OSHE training manuals. Learning Outcome: Participants should be able to design and complete the

OSHE training manuals.

DAY 2 (9.00AM-12.45PM)Topic 5: Roles and responsibilities of effective OSHE trainers.

Learning Outcome: Participants should be able to understand and practice various techniques skills to become an effective trainers for work related to workers’ obligations as required under OSHA 1994

DAY 2 (2.00PM-3.30PM)Topic 6: Evaluating the participants and training session’s effectiveness.

Learning Outcome: Participants should be able to learn and practice techniques and methods to develop effective training evaluations at workplaces..

DAY 2 (3.45PM-5.00PM)Topic 7: Group presentation

Learning Outcome: Participants will gain valuable experience during this session whereby the knowledge gained during the course will be useful.

Training EvaluationBy group and general discussions, case studies and practical exercises such as conducting a mock-up training session as required by the OSHA 1994 Regulations.
