Sport, societies and other extra-curricular activities are a vital part of the student experience. It’s how many of our students try new things, gain new skills and build confidence.

By creating opportunities to work, volunteer and travel, we help our students to become engaged, work-ready citizens with a global outlook.

TRANSFORMING TOMORROW, TOGETHER 17CAPITAl AND ESTATES

We want our students to learn and create in the most inspiring physical learning environments – spaces that use the very latest technology and foster the cross-fertilisation of ideas, intellectual inspiration and creativity. We already have a track record in doing this – our three campuses house a wealth of innovative facilities, from clinical suites for nursing students to bio-mechanic laboratories for sporting students – but we want to go further.

We plan to build on our strong links with industry by creating new physical workspaces that are innovative, inspiring and will foster entrepreneurial thinking. These will enhance the learning experience and thoroughly prepare students for work.

Our vision is to provide a new building for Engineering and create state-of-the-art spaces for Computing. This will enable our students and researchers to engage with a new wave of technologies, embrace innovation and entrepreneurship and tackle some of the biggest challenges facing the modern world. Scotland has a history of leading the way in engineering and technology. your support could help the next generation of pioneers.
