About Transition to Work Transition to Work helps early school leavers and young people finding it hard to secure employment after school. The program offers 25 hours of weekly support to be completed at your own pace. Hours are usually a mix of coaching, education or training, work experience and support from community services; depending on your personal needs and interests. We contact employers and training institutions on your behalf to find new opportunities, or provide you with a pathway into paid work through volunteering or work experience. We help you get a job you really want.

Service that’s All About You

We help you identify career goals and build the selfconfidence and skills to achieve them. We can also help with personal challenges you may be facing and offer you access to specialised services such as housing, health, substance abuse, counselling, Indigenous support or refugee and migrant support.

Real-world Experience

Get out of the classroom and into the real world through opportunities like work experience and workplace excursions.

Ongoing Support

Once you’ve started your new job, we’ll stay in close contact for the first six months to help you settle in and with any issues you may be facing.

A Dedicated Coach
