The bunk bed is held

up by a concealed

steel base pole, which

is in the middle "tree-

trunk storage”

The wood and steel

base poles continue

down to the floor

The "tree-trunk storage" is 83 cm

with shelves at 20 cm and 15 cm deep

Housed joints are used for the shelves

Butt joints with strength has been added by using

screws to hold them together for the base unit

The base draws are 30 cm high by 202 cm long and

100 wide

The mattress is 20 cm with

wooden cover using butt joints

The spaces between the horizontal planks

are 9 cm and the planks are also 9 cm

Tenon joints make

up the core

supporting beams

for extra strength

We are using Birch wood through out the tree house as it is

strong, cheap and looks good (it can also be painted to suit the room)
