The Institute's Committeefor Selection and Assessment Promotion (ICSAP) met on

12-13March, 2015 at Wildlife Instituteof India, Dehradun. Director,WII & MemberSecretary

ICSAP welcomed Shri Vinod Rishi, Chairman ICSAP, Dr. Mewa Singh and Dr. Janki

Andharia, Members ICSAP and Dr. Rajesh Gopal, Subject Matter SpecialiSt.He informed

that Dr. HS. Pabla, Dr. S.K. Khanduri, Members, ICSAP and Dr. L.M.S. Palni, Subject

Matter Specialistwere unableto attend the meeting and had sought leave of absence,which

was granted by the Chairman.Hesaid that as per provision of Rule 6.4 (iii) of the Institute's

Recruitment and Assessment Promotion Rules for Group A Scientific Posts - 2010, the

quorumwas complete.

Member Secretary informedthat the Institute had advertisedfor filling up of two posts

of Scientist C in Pay Band 3 (Rs. 15600-Rs. 39100) with Grade Pay of 6600 (one post

reserved for OBC and one post in General Category) and one post of Scientist 0 in Pay

Band 3 (Rs. 15600-Rs 39100)with grade pay of Rs. 7600 (in General Category) on direct

recruitment basis. He said that as per Office Memorandum, Department of Personnel and

Training, Government of India Office Memorandum No 36035/3/2004-Estt. (Res) dated

29/1212005 and OM No 36012/24/2009-Estt. (Res) dated 3112/2013 one post has to be

reservedfor the Personswith Disability (PWD).

Member Secretary informed that the Institute's Screening Committee has

recommended 10 candidates in OBC category; 10 candidates in General Category; 5

candidatesin PWDCategory(only5 candidates had appeared in the written test) for the two

* As per orders of Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India OM F. No.A-14013/1/2006-P.1dated 5th July 2006 the reservation in Direct Recruitment post isapplicable for all recruitment in Group-A posts.
