Existing users

1. If you already have a Turnitin account (you must have received an email with a provisional password or you have a previously existing account), log in with your email as username and your password.

2. Click the “enroll in a class” tab in the left and introduce the class id and enrollment password, which are:

• Class ID: 4345667 • Enrollment password: ECONOMICS

Submitting documents

1. Click in the name of your class (which is usually a module code) in the students’ homepage

2. You will access the class portfolio, which lists the assignments your instructor has created. Click the Submit icon next to the desired assignment in your class portfolio (in the example, “Mid Term”)

3. Select file upload from the submission pull down menu, enter your name and a title for your submission. Then, click in Browse, look for your document (in your pc or memory disk), and click open. Then, click Upload

4. You are presented with a preview of the document. If the text checks out, click Submit to finalize your submission.

5. After you confirm your submission, a digital receipt will be shown. This receipt will be e-mailed to you. To return to your portfolio and view your submission, click the portfolio button. Your paper will appear in your class portfolio next to the name of the assignment

By default, students cannot see their own Originality Reports. If you see a red circle icon with a slash through it instead of an Originality Report icon in your portfolio, then your instructor has disabled the ability for students to view the Originality Report for this assignment. If you would like to view your report, contact your lecturer.
