Postgraduate Medical Education

The Global Clinical Scholars Research Training (GCSRT) program was the missing piece to complement my experiences. It was the right way to get the knowledge and experience I needed to do the kind of job I wanted to do in clinical development. This has opened my eyes to not only pharma research but also academic research, and has created infinite possibilities.

Traditional executive education teaches leadership and management. At Harvard Medical School, we have a different focus.

We engage business leaders whose work impacts health care and expose them to the real-world practice of medicine, the latest trends in biomedical science, perspectives of patients and physicians, and health care delivery.

HMS executive education programs are designed and delivered by world-renowned faculty who are leaders and innovators in their fields. Offerings include customized and open enrollment programs.Participants become highly sophisticated within the domain of health care, developing stronger, more forward-thinking business strategies and, ultimately, delivering products and services that improve the lives of providers and—most importantly—patients.

Executive Education

Our experience at Harvard Medical School played a huge role in shaping the way we think about health care. Through the program, we developed a much better sense for technology’s role in addressing health care challenges. We’re now focused on increasing the supply of high quality care by automating workflows and lowering the administrative burden on clinicians, so they can focus more on patients.

What I got from the HMX program was not to memorize, but understand the concepts— I think [the] thought process will be more streamlined by doing that, and things will be a lot clearer.
