This course willchallenge your tness and bikehandling skills at a BMX stylesection, and in between thoseanaerobic moments o suering,you’ll be having un! And whenyou’re done with the race, hangout at the beach, or hike to thetop o a nearby hill and see theentire course.

THE VENUELocated right o Interstate 15 andDel Dios Hwy (S6) at the shoreo Lake Hodges near Escondido.Bring the entire amily as there’splenty to see and explore at LakeHodges and the San DieguitoRiver Park ater the race. TheSan Dieguito River Park is anopen space district that eatures

hundreds o miles o multi-usetrails and historical landmarks.The Coast to Crest Trail systemwill someday link more than 55miles o trails rom the PacicOcean in Del Mar to the AnzaBorrego Desert. A portion o raceproceeds will benet the UdoHeinz Memorial Fund and SanDieguito River Park.

ENTRY FEES

RULESEvent held under . All 2013 ABRrules apply. Event will be held rainor shine, no reunds. Cyclocrossand mountain bikes (no bar ends)best. Bicycle and wheel changesare allowed in the designated pitareas only. No eeds are allowedon course except under discretiono the race ofcials. Riders must

wear helmets when on the bikeat all times. Riders shall stayon the course or existing trails.Warming up on the Course: oncethe last rider has crossed theline in the current active wave,the ofcials will allow riders to“pre-ride” the course so theycan become amiliar with route.Please enter the course just pastthe nish line and do not passor re-enter in ront o riders who

are still racing on the course. Asin the past, while pre-riding donot cross the nish line while thetiming system is running and do

not pass active racers on course.There will always be enough timeto complete one lap beore thenext race starts. Once the nextrace has started, warming up onthe course is not allowed.

CATEGORIESSenior (over 18 years o age in2014) and Masters categoriesmay be listed by ability as wellas age. Ability categories areas ollows. The Prestige Seriesdiscourages sandbagging. USACycling does not recognizeAmerican Bicycle Racing eventsor cyclocross category upgradesor national ranking points.

CYCLOCROSS RACING AGE

 A rider’s racing age or the 2013-2014 Cyclocross Season is the‘racing age’ they’ll be the yearo the CX World Championshipswhich take place February 1st–

2nd, 2014. Your racing age or theentire cyclocross season runningSeptember 2013 through January2014 is your age as o 12/31/2014.
