Beware of any SMS which contains a string like ‘03332597334u2u50’ or any call that asks you to give the number on the back of a scratch card as this is fraud and will cause you a loss. Remember, if you receive any such SMS or calls call 333 from your Ufone immediately.

Note: Calls to 333 from prepaid numbers will be charged at Re. 1 + tax per call.

Company ProfilePTML is a wholly owned subsidiary of PTCL……established to operate cellular telephony. The company commenced its operations, under the brand name of Ufone, from Islamabad on January 29, 2001.

During the year, as a consequence of PTCL’s privatization, 26% of its shares were acquired by Emirates Telecommunication Corporation (Etisalat). Being part of PTCL, the management of Ufone has also been handed over to Etisalat. During the years, Ufone continued on the path to success. Ufone launches Sindhi IVR

Islamabad—September 2008: Ufone, one of Pakistan’s leading telecom companies, has launched Sindhi Interactive Voice Response for its valued Sindhi customers. This is yet another step by Ufone towards customer convenience.

Now Ufone contact centre offers its valued customers the option to speak to a customer service representative in three languages Urdu, English & Sindhi. Furthermore, Ufone has deputed local representatives for its Sindhi customers so that they can also avail the facility of customer services in their own regional language.

Ufone has been introducing innovative services for its valued customers like Video News, Islamic Portal, Music Station and gaming portal for its young customers. Now Ufone Sindhi regional customers have the absolute new wider network and crystal clear voice besides the customer care service in their native Sindhi language for timely response to their needs.
