After working in the private sector as an Engineering Project Manager, she started working in government contracts and procurement in Washington, DC. Jasmin is also an entrepreneur and small business owner. In 2011 she established Letzi, a luxury brand of Handmade in Italy scarves and accessories. In 2018, she then launched META, a brand that recycles plastic bottles into jewelry and home essentials. Jasmin’s goals are to continue her career in contracts, while expanding her two businesses into the e-commerce platforms. Jasmin Picariello will discuss her journey as a small business owner, exploring how her international background has led her company to grow from luxury fashion to sustainability and repurposing.
