Analyze the Learner:

A class of 20 students. 15 boys and 5 girls. Innovation Class A group of different and all kinds of

backgrounds. It is a public school. ½ of them are more visual

students. Middle Income families

Main Objective:

Students will describe the type of transportation innovation that has occurred in America from 1903-2003 which was a significant decade. Students will also categorize transportation that they found the most interesting along with the types of transportation they have found through the decade given to them on that day along with using new technological educational programs, and present with the class at the end of the week what collectively they have learned and about their favorite type of innovation transportation from a decade. Each student will know a innovation that has taken place through this decade with 95% accuracy within one week, and the following week presenting their work.

Day by Day:

Monday: 1903-1923 (airplanes)

-Research the Wright Brothers and their planes-YouTube Video-VOKI/QR-Blog

Tuesday: 1923-1943 (old ford truck)

-Do research of Henry Ford and his innovations-Poster-Glogster-Pinterest Board-Secondlife

Wednesday: 1943-1963 (Submarine)

-Create a webquest about submarines and the missing-Podcast-YouTube Video WW2

Day by Day

Thursday: 1963-1983 (Space)

-Look at some of the most notorious events that have occurred in space-Pinterest Board-Webquest Space-Photoshop- Evaluate and Evaluate a Web 2.0 site

Friday: 1983-2003 (Trains)

-Research trains and how they have evolved-Pinterest Board-Twitter-Facebook Page-21st Century PowerPoint

They will research and find collect and keep their information throughout the week and at the end of the week put it all together and present their findings.

Use of Technology:

We will be using computers and internet to do our research. We will use many different technology tools.
