Week International Welcome 2012 Week International Welcome 2012 The information sessions are designed to help you settle into your new life in Newcastle as quickly as possible, and cover many of the practical issues you will face during your first few weeks at Newcastle University. Please note that you must attend a Welcome! Session in order to find out how to complete the registration process at the University and receive your Welcome! ticket to book any of the social activities. Without the Welcome! ticket you will not be allowed to book any tours or trips. You are advised to attend as many of the other available sessions as you can. The University English Language Assessment (UELA) is for all new students at the University for whom English is not their first language. Assessment sessions will take place during International Welcome and are listed below. They will take place in the Herschel Building, Lecture Theatre 3:
