In July we saw the transition of a brown landscape into a lush green one. The rain infused beauty and life, making the students happy to be back in school. Activities like the Van Mahotsav and Rain Dance added to the fun. The Nature Walk exposed the students to things and creatures that are alive and growing. This promoted wonder and curiosity, and ignited the exploration spirit amongst students. We need to guard our students and take preventive measures against viruses, flu and stomach and mosquito borne diseases. Regularly draining stagnant water, maintaining good personal hygiene and healthy eating habits can help prevent most of these. JULY

Early Communication...

Humans have always had the need and desire to

communicate be it through hand signs, body

language, or pictograms. Man learnt to communicate

over long distances through smoke signals which

involved generang puffs of smoke with a fire and a

blanket from a high elevaon so others could see the

smoke rising into the air. Nave Americans used

smoke signals as did the Chinese. Flag signals were

another method of communicaon, with different

colors and combinaons of flags having different

meanings when hoisted into the air.
