COPYRIGHT 1976-2016 BUROHAPPOLD ENGINEERING. ALL RIGHTS RESERVEDThe windcatchers here have a solar panel to drive the fans for an energy-free natural ventilation system. Louvres are on all 4 sides, which literally catch the wind from any direction and pull the fresh air into the space, while releasing warm, stale air out. The ceiling diffusers in the space open to varying levels depending on the indoor and outdoor temperatures. The windcatcher controls are tied into the building HVAC controls to optimize use.
