Continued on page 2 Area counselors to visit campus NICE MOVES - Texas A&M University-Texarkana midfielder Olivia Okoye, a fresh- man biology major from Plano, Texas, moves the ball down the field during today’s Red River Athletic Conference semifinal match 3-0 win over the Wiley College Wild- cats. e Eagles will play the University of St. omas Celts in the RRAC Champion- ships final at 5 p.m. on Friday at Eagle Field. Go Eagles! e Texas A&M University-Texarkana Student Veterans Association will host a “Red Shirt Friday” Veterans Celebration, Friday, Nov. 10. Students, faculty, staff and members of the community are encouraged to wear red in honor of those who are currently deployed. At 9 a.m., there will be a flag-planting ceremony outside of the University Center. Individuals may purchase flags in memory or honor of past and present service members for a $1 donation to the Student Veterans Association. e Veterans Day ceremony will get un- derway at 11 a.m. with a special guest speaker and program honoring all veter- ans and active-duty military. Following the ceremony, there will be a reception in the Eagle Lounge of the University Center. Area counselorsto visit campus

NICE MOVES - Texas A&M University-Texarkana midfielder Olivia Okoye, a fresh-man biology major from Plano, Texas, moves the ball down the field during today’s Red River Athletic Conference semifinal match 3-0 win over the Wiley College Wild-cats. The Eagles will play the University of St. Thomas Celts in the RRAC Champion-ships final at 5 p.m. on Friday at Eagle Field. Go Eagles!

The Texas A&M University-Texarkana Student Veterans Association will host a“Red Shirt Friday” Veterans Celebration, Friday, Nov. 10.

Students, faculty, staff and members of the community are encouraged to wear red in honor of those who are currently deployed.
