When it comes to processing of VILLI productsfor underwater applications, make sure to laythem without creating any hollow spaces. This is why mosaics are not prefabricated onme shes, but are sold with a foil on the front.

VILLI products stand for variety and perfection. The productrange includes 7 square, 12 rectangular and two River mosaicsizes. The modular design of these sizes combined with absolutedimensional accuracy of every VILLI product allows for a perfectcombination of any formats.Our mosaics, with a joint width of only 2 mm, are preset on 30 x 30 cm meshsheets, ensuring a perfect fit. When the mosaics are used for trimmings or or-namental elements, these mesh sheets can be cut to any format as necessary.

The delicate coat on the top side and a sub-sequent second fusing process give the sur-face a matt, slightly rough touch. Thatmeans the surface has not been sand- blasted and has closed pores. This makes itresistant to finger prints, and grease stainsare easier to clean.

VILLI glass tiles and mosaics have a second coating on the reverse side thatis also fused into the glass. A special topcoat treatment gives a rough surface,which in turn provides excellent cross-linking with the tile adhesive andthere fore a high level of adhesion. The white coating also serves as additio-nal protection for the pigment and ensures the webbing does not showthrough the tile. Cleaning and maintenance

There is nothing easier than cleaning and maintaining VILLI products. SinceVILLI tiles have a non-porous, homogeneous glass surface, all standardcleaners can be used, including those normally used for windows and mirrors.No special chemicals are required. Decos in gold print are scratch-sensitive.Please make sure only soft cloths are used for cleaning purposes. NEVERuse any abrasive cleaning agents; use glass cleaner only (alcohol-based).Tiles from the Skid Resistant series are best cleaned with a high-pressurecleaner.

To cut a suitable piece out of a tile, you need to perform several steps. First,mark the piece to be cut out. Drill a hole with a diameter of at least 5 mmwhere the marked lines intersect. This eliminates potential tension in the glass.Then, cut out the piece using a water-cooled glass saw. The saw must be po-sitioned and guided at a right angle to the tile. Holes of a small diameter can be drilled using a diamond drill suitable forglass, provided there is constant water-cooling. When drilling holes with a dia-meter wider than 10 mm keep in mind that you must drill from both sides. In

I fori di diametro piccolo possono venire effettuatiutilizzando un disco diamantato specifico per forature su vetro, con raffred-damento continuo ad acqua. Bei der Montage von Sanitäreinrichtungen (Toiletten, Waschtische, Spiegeletc.) mittels Schrauben ist unbedingt darauf zu achten, dass zwischen derAuflagefläche der Sanitäreinrichtung und den VILLI-Glasfliesen geeigneteKunststoffscheiben auf den Schrauben angebracht werden. Die Kunststoff-scheiben bewirken beim Anziehen der Schrauben eine gleichmäßige Druck-verteilung und verhindern dadurch einen Spannungsbruch der Fliesen.

Durante il montaggio dei sanitari (toilette, lavabi, specchi, ecc.) tramite viti, sidovrà assolutamente prestare attenzione al fatto che tra la superficie di appoggio del sanitario e le piastrelle in vetro VILLI vengano applicati spessoriadatti in materiale plastico sulle viti. Tali spessori fanno in modo che la pressione esercitata nel momento in cui si stringe la vite venga suddivisa in maniera omogenea evitando così una rottura delle piastrelle dovuta all'eccessiva tensione.

The use of conventional tile cutters ispossible only to a limited extent. Use aglass cutter ('silver cut') for carving. Then break the tile using glazier's pliersevenly and applying constant pressure.
