Christopher Riley is a born and raised Brazoria County resident and 2011 graduate from the

University of Texas-Austin with a Bachelors degree in Advertising. Prior to graduation,

Christopher interned at a premier country club in Austin as their first social media coordina-

tor. The following semester was spent studying at UT’s Los Angeles campus where he went

on to intern as a brand manager at an advertising agency centered on garnering buzz and

publicity for their clients products by placing them in the hands of the Hollywood elite from

Raven Simone to Brad Garrett.

Christopher has worked at BayStar Agency since 2012 where he serves as an advertising

consultant and sales representative. One of his main goals is to develop the direct mailed

Alvin/Manvel/Rosharon Community Newsletter into a publication filled almost exclusively

with businesses in the Alvin, Manvel, and Rosharon area. As a Chamber member and Alvin

Ambassador, Christopher enjoys attending Alvin/Manvel Area Chamber ribbon cuttings as

well as other functions such as the annual Alvin/Manvel Area Chamber Expo and state of

the city addresses.

As far as hobbies go, Christopher is an avid competitive tennis player. Along with competing

in United States Tennis Association (USTA) tournaments, he was also selected to serve on

the USTA-Texas Collegiate Committee for the 2015-2016 term. Christopher also enjoys

acting, and has been on camera in various commercials and films over the years. Most re-

cently, he landed a small role in an independent film produced by Joe Grisaffi titled “Lars

the Emo Kid” which is scheduled for a 2015 release. The film was shot locally in the Hou-

ston area, and some scenes were filmed on location at Alvin’s own Stanton’s!
