Overview
The VME/VXS-630™ PowerPC® and PMC/XMC carrier is designed to meet the signal processing needs of modern signal intelligence, software defined radio and radar applications.
An on-board Freescale 8548E PowerPC provided for card control and communications, management and user applications.
The VME/VXS-630 maximizes sensor I/O density with two PMC/XMC sites. These enable multi-channel signal digitization schemes to be implemented on-card, or pre-digitized signals to be brought on-board using digital I/O. Network I/O such as Ethernet® or 1553 can also be implemented using mezzaninecards.
As part of the scalable REVX series of products from Nallatech, the VME/VXS-630 is complemented by further PMC/XMC mezzanines, VME/VXS processing engines, and application development tools.
