AUSA Monmouth Chapter participated in the 54th Annual Monmouth Junior Science Symposium (MJSS)March 17, 2016AUSA Monmouth Chapter participated in the 54th Annual Monmouth Junior Science Symposium (MJSS) on March 17-18, 2016 at Monmouth University, West Long Branch, NJ. AUSA Members participated in technical paper reviews and technical paper judging. Our chapter provided $100 awards each to six (6) MJSS poster presenters at Banquest. Below are the presenters with the representatives of the organizations receiving the award. COL (ret) John L Booth represented the Monmouth Chapter of AUSA.

NJ Lt Governor Kim Guadagno Office VisitMarch 24, 2016A number of AUSA Monmouth Chapter Board Members attended the NJ Lt Governor Kim Guadagno Office Visit. We presented our AUSA Monmouth Chapter Mission Voice for the Army-Support for the Soldier Brief with Hand-outs. Lt Governor Kim Guadagno accepted our invitation as Keynote Speaker at 50th Anniversary event on Saturday, October 22, 2016. Present today was COL (R) Samuel Fuoco, 4four Board Members and one Active Duty Member.

NJ MWR Fitness and Wellness ExpoMarch 24, 2016 Our chapter was part of Naval Weapons Earle, NJ MWR Fitness and Wellness Expo. 20 representatives on site to disseminate information and offer free screenings. Recruited 2-3 representatives to attend AUSA Monmouth Chapter sponsored Veterans Health and Wellness Resource Fair on Saturday, April 16, 2016. Veterans Health & Wellness Resource FairApril 16, 2016Our AUSA Monmouth Chapter hosted the second annual “Veterans Health & Wellness Resource Fair” at the CentraState Medical Center, Star and Barry Ambulatory Center in Freehold NJ. Over forty exhibitors from the area participated in the event this year. This year we had three different categories represented from the Monmouth AUSA Chapter, CentraState Medical Center and the New Jersey Health Care System. Breakout sessions included Business Products & Services, Elderly Care, Family needs, Financial Planning, Health & Wellness, IED Injuries, Military & Veterans Organizations and Services & Supportive Organizations.

Reenactment of the Battle of MonmouthJune 18, 2016 AUSA Monmouth Chapter provided Display/Information Table at the reenactment of the Battle of Monmouth, co-sponsored by the Friends and Monmouth Battlefield State Park, Manalapan, NJ. The reenactment commemorated 238th Year anniversary of the battle fought on June 28, 1778. Chapter received 10 new AUSA Membership applications.
