May 31 is our yearly Foundation Day and if you take ad-vantage of this offer, you will be recognized that day. For every $1000 you donate to Rotary International, you earn a Paul Harris award. Example: I have donated $800 to Rotary International. If I donate $100, the club will match that, and I will have my FIRST Paul Harris Award. If you would like to find out your balance or have any fur-ther questions, please contact Chris Connolly or Deb Pe-terson. The deadline for this offer will be May 10. Thanks for considering.

LAST WEEK - April 19, 2019 – Offsite meeting at Palmer College of Chiropractic

Sixty attended on Friday, in the Palmer Café, where we were served a taco bar. Many thanks to Marcia Brandt for planning this awesome “field trip”. Dr. Dennis Marchiori, Chancellor of Palmer, spoke to the group for several minutes be-fore a tour of the college was available. He said that Palmer has 16 programs in the United States and the Davenport campus is the largest. The student population is growing at Palmer. There are about 21,000 students per year. The students are also very involved in the commu-nity. Palmer has 283 employees and a 70-million-dollar yearly budget. They are a non profit organization. A lot of research is done on the campus. The patient clinic is open Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. Military personal is seen at No charge. Students are looking for amenities, so the Davenport campus strives to offer plenty. A large work out facility is on site and remodeling of the campus buildings keep it up to date.

The 4 Way Test Of the things we THINK SAY or DO

1. Is it the TRUTH?

2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?

3. Will it build GOOD WILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
