Volunteering

Synergy or Insanity

Synergy– Synergy is a phenomenon that occurs

when people come together for a common cause with a common understanding.

– The sum total of what can be achieved by the group is greater than that which is possible by the individuals.

1 + 1 + 1 < 3

Insanity– is often evident when the synergy in a

group is lost, – active members loose interest and leave– more pressure on a fewer people – remaining members become stressed,

resentful, negative– recruitment becomes more difficult
