PROGRAMA TO SUPPORT HIRING. FIGHT AGAINST SOCIAL EXCLUSION. Requirements:

Being unemployed for a continuous period not less than a year. All family members must be registered in the same locality in Andalusia. The amount of income for the family all together is less than 1.5 times the Public Income Indicator. The applicant demonstrates through social services report being at risk of social exclusion.

Priorities in the award: All household members are seeking employment for at least 6 months. The applicant is part of a family unit that has the status of a large family. That among the members of the family unit there is at least one minor. That the applicant is resident in areas that are facing social transformation. That a member of the family unit has more than 33% disability or dependent. That the applicant belongs to a single parent household with at least one dependent child. That some or one member of the family unit is a victim of domestic violence. That the applicant is part of a family unit with at least two dependent children. VII ‘NOCHE DEL VINO’ TOURNAMENT

On the occasion of the “Noche del Vino” the Ayuntamiento in partnership with the Football Club, of our town, have organized the VII football tournament. The phase to choose the league will run from Monday 5th to Friday, August 9th. The semi-finals will be on the 13th and the final on the 14th.

The tournament winner will receive a trophy and 100€, the

runners up, trophy and 50€, and the third place a trophy.

On July 18th at the Associ-ation of Municipalities of Axarquia ‘Axarquía Costa del Sol’ the Tourist of Cómpeta and our Local Police were awarded the quality award SICTED with which the Secretary of State for Tourism recog-nizes and rewarded these two bodies of our town for its commitment to the quality in the services it provides.

PRESENTATION OF THE “NOCHE DEL VINO” POSTER

On Saturday, August 3rd at 21:00 hrs. In the auditorium of the Ayuntamiento the presentation of XXXVIII Noche del Vino poster will be held. Afterwards we will enjoy a Zambombada and a glass of wine, come and join us!!!.

SCHOOL YEAR STARTS

The summer holidays are in the middle, so remind our young students that the school year begins at the"Candide Lara" school on September 10 and in the high school "The Almijar" on September 16. Enjoy the holidays.

NOCHE DEL VINO EXHIBITION

The Hon. Ayuntamiento of Cómpeta will inaugurate on Friday August 9th at 20:00h. In the auditorium of the Ayun-tamiento an exhibition to mark the XXXVIII NOCHE DEL VINO entitled ‘FLAMENCAS’, thirty portraits of Pepe Ponce

and Pablo Blancas in which are reflected singers and flamenco dancers of Málaga.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Total Cost: 47.343,37€. Duration: 15/07 to 30/09 of 2013. Employees: 2 oficiales and 17 peones.

C/ Trinidad: New sanitation, new water mains and canalizing the cables, concreting and finishing with

tiles, carpet type ... Total Cost : 160.508,58€ Duration: 15/07 02 to 02/02 of 2014. Employees: 5 ofi-

ciales and 72 peones.

We work to improve our facilities and provide better service.

DAY CARE

As in previous years, and at the start of the school year on Monday, September 2nd at 11:00h in the au-ditorium of the Ayuntamiento a meeting will be held to inform the parents the functions of the ‘MATRONA ÁNGELES CABRA’ The course is schedule to begin on Tuesday September 3rd. Place: Auditorium of the Ayuntamiento. Time: 11:00 Explanatory Meeting Day: Monday September 2nd. Course starts Tuesday September 3rd.

VI POETRY CONTEST ENCARNI ESCALONA

The VI Poetry Contest Encarni Escalona is open.

Those interested can collect the basis at the Ayuntamiento.

Three awards have been established:

Aristoloquia baetica L.

Vulgar Name: Candilillo.

Family: Aristoloquiaceae.

Distribution in the Peninsula: Can be found throughout the peninsula, more often in the south.

We can find it in the “Arroyo Limonero or in the routes of the Acequia.

Ecology: They appear in cool and wet soils. It does not depend on the altitud

Description: Small herbaceous plant, very green, the most characteristic part are the flowers,

that are shaped a a candilillo. The petals are fused to form a tube, shredded flowers usually ap-

pear in white and burgundy stripes. They bloom from October to May.

Traditionales uses: It is toxic, but they have active components that have certain properties not yet clearly determined.

Trivia: This plant is entomophilies, played by insects, preferably bees. The flower has that form precisely so that when the

insect enters the flower to feed, has a difficulty to ext without been completely impregnated with the pollen.
