4-h members will be selected to represent new Jersey at the 2014 Citizenship Washington Focus ConferenceJuly 6-12, But we need your help!

The cost of this trip continues to increase and we are asking for a donation of $30.00 to help reduce the cost for the youth attending.

What is CWF?CWF is Citizenship Washington Focus, a 4-H leadershipprogramforhighschoolyouth.Delegationsfromacrossthecountryattendthissix-dayprogramat the National 4-H Youth Conference Center, located justoutsideWashington,D.C.Theprogramisaimedatenrichingyoungpeople’slivesbybroadeningtheirappreciation and respect for themselves and others in the world.

Participants attend workshops, committee meetings, field trips and social events, giving them hands-on opportunitiestolearnandgrow.Theylearnand practice skills that will make them better citizens and more successful individuals.

During the week, program participants have the opportunitytovisitlocalWashington,D.C.landmarksincludingtheCapitol,MountVernon,Arlington NationalCemetery,Presidentialandwarmonumentsand memorials, as well as Smithsonian museums.

CWF was a really great experience! i had so much fun meeting people from other states and learning

CWF was overall a wonderful experience! My favorite parts were the night view, congressional session and Capitol hill day. Meeting our senators and Congressman was very inspiring. it was a lot of fun getting to know 4-h’ers from all over the country. i will take what i learned and will make an impact!
