     back whenI mademyfirst solo." The 24 year old plane,

    considered an aviation classic, has been flying for ovea year. This plane was used for background shots when

     NANCYmet Mr. Taylor, inventor and designer of the Taylcraft, whenhe was interviewed for a PlANE&   PIlOTmag-azine article. NANCYhas added a glider rating to her flying skills and tows gliders on week-ends in her   J-)Supercub.

     boy and girl, graduated from the U of Georgia at Athensand one boy from the Air Force Academy. Oneboy ismarried and the other will be at Christmas. NATALIEand Al celebrated their 25th anniversary this year and figure they spent 14 years out of the U.S. Expect totravel for a few more years before retirement.

    RUTHMARYBUCKLEYCOLE,after a year of charter work in home-town Kalamazoo, Mich. went to Dallas, married and had three children. After 10 years movedto Ft. After one girl's wedding the choice for BUCKYwill be California or Europe.

    keeps busy with their 12 year old son and 11 year old 

    daughter. Her stepson is at Clifton College, Bristol,

    England this year on an "English-Speaking Union"

    scholarship. Husband Jim has traded interest in fly_ 

    ing for boating and sailing. His sailing leans to the'

    Hobie Cat class sailing on the Potomac, primarily rac-

    ing and also in the ocean at Ocean City and Kitty Hawk.

    "Jim hasn't flown for almost two years but still has the

    twin Navion. If anyone is interested in buying same,

    ously with her new hobby - riding. She has been Show

    Jumping for the past two years ani writes that it is

    the nearest thing to the feeling of flying. This year 

    at the First National Show DOROTHY broke ten ribs ani

    suffered a punctured lung. After two months she was at

    it again and in September broke another two ribs but

     bounced back in three weeks. DOROTHYsays her trouble is

    IDA "SKIP' CARTERis still the head of the Science Dept. at

    U. S. Grant High School in Okla City. Relaxes with

    SKIP and RUTHJONES, who is also head of the Science Dept

    at Capitol Hill Senior High in Okla City, took off the

    day school was out and toured Europe all summer. They

    were 14 days on a Norwegian cargo ship and had a ball.

    and JONESin Copenhagen. They all took in the Passion

    Play at Oberammergau (perfect weather!) and JFANETTEreturned home in August.

    DEBBIESTEMPLEDICKENS,a non-graduate of this class, took 

    in the start of the Power Puff Derby at MTYas they

    live in nearby Salinas. So impressed with the planes

    taking off that DEBBIEdidn't read the program in time

    to reach GENESHAFFERFITZPATRICKwho was a contestant.

    Over a month later, they finally got in touch and re-

    lived "old times'. DEBBIEhas a married son living in

    Orange County. She and husband have bought a home in

    Springfield, Missouri and plan to retire there in 1974!

    DOROTHYKRASOVECEBY, all recovered from her broken leg, ha

     been going on camping trips with the family. When fly_ 

    ing son David to college in Oregon, DOTTIEand airline

     pilot husbani flew on to Canada and into Idaho in their 

    Skylane. DOTTIEwas amazed at the -courtesy cars parked

    at remote airports in Idaho and says they are a wonder-

    ful convenience. On the return trip home DOTTIEgot insome left-seat time.

    MADELONBURCHAMHILL checks in from Tigard, Oregon and says

    her oldest boy Martin is now in his second year at the

    Air Force Academy. Her flying is done in the passenger 

    seat, altho the family does allow her to navigate once

    in awhile.

     boy Brad 12 and a girl Leslie age 7. BEVgot her BS

    at UC in Economics and her Masters in 1964. Husband 

    Jimmy was with the Special Service Division of the Air Force in Germany in 1949-52 and 56-59. Also served in

    Alaska and Thailand. BEVand Jimmy also enjoy travel-

    ing around in their trailer. Jimmy is a flight instru-

    ctor at the Freeway Airport in Tucson.

    at Litchfield, Conn., where they swim, ski, tennis,

     bowl and just enjoy life. Their flying is strictly

    commercial and already Kent has logged his 30th jet

    flight visiting relatives in California and Wisconsin.

    NORMABOSTONDOUGIAShas taken on a seven year old boy to

    raise. Her daughter Barbara attends Milliken Univer-

    sity in Decatur, Ill.

    ANNGRIFFIN GUSZER has recently moved to Lake Candlewood in

    the Danbury, Conn. area. ANNteaches French at Newton

    High School and does her flying in a Piper Cherokee.

    ANNsoloed her oldest boy Douglas last summer when he

    was 18. They flew to South Caicos for last Christmas.

    MARGARETJONESmoved to Corpus Christi last April. In May

    she got her 15-year Pin for teaching at Del Mar Coll-

    ege. After several operations and four heart attacks

    MARGARETsays she is feeling fine again. In fact, has

     been "moonlighting" teaching speech reading for Ac-

    celerated Education Schools of Dallas and reports "one

    of their students is reading over 17,000 words a min-

     but has been elected the first president of the Nevada

    Women's Golf Association. HELENwas also elected 

     president of the Nevada School Trustee Association.

    MARTHASARAGERREVELhad a great time visiting with Lt. Col.

    JOANOUlSTED44-9 in Honolulu and reports JOANhas a

     beautiful penthouse apartment overlooking all of Wai-

    kiki. MARTHA'seldest son Steve was married after grad-

    uation from USC.

    ARBARAHERSHEYTUCKERrecently did a tour of Tokyo-Taipe1_ 

    Osaka, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Singapor.

    MAGGIEGEE was called by JEEP HARMANlast winter after no

    contact for 20 years or more. MAGGIEwas amazed at

    the ease of conversation after such a lapse of time I

    is a nice comradship in wanting to hear news and still

    PENNYPEIRCE GARRETTis building her own cabin near Colo-

    rado Springs. It is just a shell this year because of 

    her limited knowledge of carpentering, wiring and 

     plumbing. MARYHELENGOSNELLCHAPPELLhas the cabinnext door. PENNYworks as a librarian at Peterson

    Field and has an excellent view of Pikes Peak and the

    Rampart Range. Her eldest son is 21 and drives an am-

     bulence in Viet Nam. Clark is 16 and a senior in high

    school and 19 year old Gail is going to business school.

    This was the third year that Gail has taken pictures of 

    tourists from the summit of Pikes Peak.

    MARY-ANNHOYTKURTZhas a permanent address in Ohio now that

    her Lt. Col. husband has retired from the Air Force.

    MARJORIEOSBORNENICOLstill teaching English to new Canad-

    ians and finds this type of work fascinating. All 5

    children are fine: Keith 19 at UBCstudying math; Tom

    17 and a good student in third year of secondary school;

    Bruce 15 average student but excells in sports; Janet

    13 a beautiful blonde, quiet and excellent studentj

    Jerome 6 is just starting school. Older boys are both

    excellent skiiers and golfers.BETTYMARTINRIDDLEand husband Howard took in a program

    for Corporate Pilots in Denver, which United gives at

    their Training Center. They hope to return to Denver 

    this fall for the National Business Aircraft Assoc.

    Convention and at that time will try to contact other 

    WASPSin the area. Last trip had a wonderful reunion

    with BETTYJO REED44-7. Son Steve is a ground school

    instructor at Mineral Wells.

    DOROTHYP. ESTEP is a consultant for Child Welfare and At-

    tendance in Redwood City.

    ELAINEHARMONis looking forward to the new Roster in order 

    to track down some of her classmates.

    a new post as her Col. husband is still on active duty

    in the Air Force with Headquarters MAC.

    . BETTYSTAGGTURNERhad her 10 year old daughter Judy oper-

    ated on for a goiter on April 3. April 4 they found 

    daughter Pat, age 22, also had a toxic goiter, but she

    was treated with a radio-active iodine "cocktail".

    April 12 their children surprised them with a champagne

     party for their 25th wedding anniversary. And BETTY

    to Wright-Patterson Air Force Museum and ran into Major
