Mother Tongue Languages

The Mother Tongue Language (MTL) policy requires all students (including foreign students) to offer MTL, unless granted exemption by MOE.

Copy of the MOE exemption letter must be submitted to

school through the form teachers by 3 Jan 2020 FRI.

Form teachers will pass it to the HOD MTL.

If you have not done so, the latest is 6 Jan 2020 MON.

Students offering AL/FL as MTL-in-lieu

1. Need to attend private lessons regularly.

2. Requirement to take AL/FL paper at GCE examinations N-level and O Level.

3. MOELC’s scheme of work (for FL students) SEAB’s website for GCE AL/FL exam syllabus (for AL & FL students)

At the end of each Term:

•Students are required to submit documents in files (eg. marked assignment, result slip, payment receipt) to enable us to ensure that students are prepared for their AL/FL GCE O-level exams.

•Students will apply to take the Year-End Exam at MOE LC.

CCA Additional Training Days

• Additional training days are on Mon- Tue, Thur to Fri.

• Uniformed Groups and Clubs & Societies CCAs

normally train only on CCA Day (Wed).

• Performing Arts CCAs normally train 2 to 3 times a

week.

• Basketball, Football & Volleyball CCAs train 3 times a

week.

• On 3 Jan, all Secondary 1 students will

indicate 5 CCAs that they want to experience.

They will be allocated 4 CCAs to experience

on 8 Jan.

• Secondary 1 students are given 2 free

choices, thereafter please select 1 CCA from

either UG/PA/Sports/Clubs.

• CCA trials may be conducted by some CCAs.

Please attend these trials if you are interested.

• Details will be given on 8 Jan during the CCA

experience. CCA teachers may also shortlist Sec

1 students for trials.

• This process is similar to the CCA Experience.

• Some CCAs may not be available for selection

(i.e. Basketball, Football & Volleyball etc – by
