General Details:

Rally and meet up at Urban Peace Circle sculpture located West of the tennis courts.

The I-90 bridge walk is 1.6 miles one way to Mercer Island's Aubrey Davis Park.

Please take into consideration your physical limitations and come prepared for all weather.

Bring your own water, snacks, cell phone, rain jacket, etc.

There will be no formal activities on the Mercer Island side, but groups are welcome to enjoy the park.

Parking and Driving:

We highly recommend utilizing public transportation.• Buses 4, 8 and 48 have two stops near Sam Smith Park• Buses 550/554 can be caught at the Mercer Island Park & Ride (20 minute walk from the Aubrey Davis

Park).

Alternatively, please consider carpooling.• Drivers of private vehicles should make private arrangements to return to parked vehicle after walk.• Parking near Sam Smith Park is limited. Street parking is free on Sundays and can be found on

residential streets around the park.• Limited parking can also be found on the Mercer Island side in and around Aubrey Davis Park.

Walking on I-90:

Participants are asked to stay to the right when walking towards Mercer Island.

Please walk single file as to respect other cyclists, walkers and runners utilizing the same pathway.

No large banners are allowed, hand-held signs are OK while walking.

Please remember that we don’t want to be a distraction for cars traveling on I-90.
