French

Learn and practise the French days of the week by listening to this song:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lpwf5N0rfVE

Towards the end of the week, ask an adult/ someone else in your family to do a little test – do you know the days of the week off-by-heart?

IDL – Woodland Habitat

This week we are learning about woodlands around the British Isles. Open the link below for an introduction:https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zx882hv/articles/zc42xnb

Choose a woodland animal to find out more about. You can either print out the fact file sheet or make your own. You should include information about where in the wood the animal lives, what it eats and how it survives. Please add a picture!

As in every habitat, the woodland also has producers and consumers. Here is a link to a food chain game which will help you to complete your fact file.https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zbnnb9q/articles/zsphrwx Please send pictures of your fact file for us to share with everyone!

IDL – Where does your food come from?

Fruits from around the world

Read the PowerPoint ‘Where is your fruit from?’ and watch the first 3 minutes of this video (no need to watch the whole thing!)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hu6Y-gTZtzc

Now open the worksheet and match the fruit to the country where it is grown. Use the PowerPoint to help you find the answer or use an internet search engine to help you find the answers.

ICT - Online Safety at Home

Open the Online safety at Home document number 4 and complete activity 1 and 2.You might want to watch Play, Like, Share Episode 2 (Who’s Magnus?) again to remind yourself what happened. With a parent discuss why Ellie was upset and who she should turn to for help. You do not need to print out page 2.With an adult, read through each description on page 2 and discuss whether they are a good person to turn to. Go through the answers at the bottom of page 2 together. You could then write a message to Ellie (activity 2) offering her some advice.

Health and Wellbeing

Can you think of a socially distanced act of kindness you could do for someone else? Please look at the challenge cards for ideas.

RME-Places of Worship – Church

Open the power point about Christian Churches and read about special items you see in a church and what they are used for. You will also learn about special events that can take place in a church.

The final slide in the power point explains your activity. You can either print out the Church Plan sheet or draw your own plan and add the items. You could add some information explaining what the items are used for if you have space!

Expressive Arts

Can you choose a woodland animal to sketch using pencil/ coloured pencils? Watch this video for some inspiration!
