The chorale, led by Terrance L. Lane, interim Director of Choral Studies at BCU, is composed of undergraduate students from all majors. The Concert Chorale is known as an "Ambassador of Goodwill" that has traveled more than a half-million miles and to five foreign countries. The group currently travels extensively throughout Florida and the region, performing a wide range of chorale works from the past three centuries. Last year, the chorale was invited by President & Mrs. Obama to perform holiday-themed music during a White House Holiday Party.The 2017 SUMC Church Conference is at 3pm today at St. Marks UMC, 2030 N. A1A, Indialantic. The meeting will be a regional conference led by District Superintendent Gary Spencer. The meeting is open to all members of our church, and voting members of the SUMC Church Council are urged to attend. The Church Conference is the annual business meeting of the church. Dorcas Circle will meet Monday, Oct. 23, in the Dining Room at 9am. The guest speaker will be Kathi Ridner, One Senior Place, who will present a new program entitled Womens Guide to Well Being. Social time is 10am, followed by a general meeting. We will be highlighting Devereux. Members are asked to bring one of the following: hygiene items, bath towels, or body lotion.
