Mr. Hamza Galiwango, Director, Lands Development at the Uganda Investment Authority.

Mr Hamza possesses 12 years’ experience in the field of urban infrastructure and utilities and handled large urban infrastructural projects for industrial parks and municipalities.

Mr Hamza holds a bachelor’s degree in physical planning from Makerere university, Masters in Land Management from KTH, Sweden, post

graduate diploma in Local economic development from IHS, Rotterdam and another diploma in Geo information systems from ITC, Netherlands.

Eng. James N. Mwangi, Chief Executive Officer and founder of Kurrent Technologies Ltd.

Mr Mwangi is a Mechanical Engineer whose experience in the sector spans over 24 years working in Kenya and overseas. His experience includes the development of petroleum infrastructure projects in Africa and Asia and power generation projects. .

Mr Mwangi is a Registered Consulting Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya, Corporate Member of the Institute of Engineers of Kenya (IEK), Chairman and Council Member of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Kenya (ACEK), Secretary and member of the Executive Committee of GAMA (Group of African member Associations) comprising of Associations of Consulting Engineers of African Countries, Council Member of the Association of Professional Societies in East Africa (APSEA), Member of the Energy Institute (U.K) and Director of the Petroleum Institute of East Africa (PIEA).

Mrs. Were Mwangi, Change Management Practitioner

Mrs. Mwangi is an accomplished change management practitioner with over 13 years’ experience in people led change, with emphasis in technology implementations within the agriculture, banking, manufacturing, construction and infrastructure sectors.

Between 2010 – 2014, Mrs. Mwangi worked as a Senior Consultant with Deloitte providing Change Management consultancy in Kenya,

Uganda, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Ethiopia. Mrs. Mwangi holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree from the University of Nairobi. She is a certified Change Management Practitioner with APMG International and an Accredited Facilitator with Deloitte.
