Weekend Communique

GRADE : KG 1 WEEK : 24th April – 28th April, 2016

Earth Day was celebrated on 25th April, 2016 to raise awareness about the Earth we live in. Children were shown apresentation on how to save, protect and preserve our Mother Earth. They participated in a simple discussion on ways

to look after it and then collaborated to create a poster.

They enjoyed singing special songs during the Choral Singing session, on how to keep our Earth clean

and green. Our little recyclers, dressed in green, pledged to do their bit to take care of the Earth.

ART WEEKCreativity and imagination were the main focus this week in Kindergarten. Children made colourful

pieces of art, showing off their skills using paints, crayons and different craft materials that an active

imagination requires. They enjoyed creating their original art pieces with enthusiasm and excitement.

“It’s our Earth. Love the world you live in”. KG1A proudly celebrating Earth Day.

Art encourages to us to think and create. Little hands and minds of KG1C in sync during their Art week.

The fingers of thought create magical wonders. KG1 F developing their fine motor skills using clay.

Play is the highest form of research. KG1G exploring the Indoor Free flow area.

Let imagination lead the way. KG1 I exploring the various centers in the Indoor Free Flow area.

To travel, is to explore and experience. KG1 H on an observation walk around the school with their teachers and friends.
