40 Book ChallengeStudents are expected to read 40
books this year. (Yes, 40.)
Why?Your child will become a reader.
He/she will have to figure out what types of books interest them.
Students will be exposed to all the different genres that we encounter in real life …
…(and on tests).
40 Book Challenge
Students may choose their own books, as long as they meet the following genre requirements are of the appropriate reading level.
Fiction- choose 6 of the 10RealisticSportsHorror/SuspenseFantasyMysterySupernaturalHistoricalScience FictionAdventure/ActionChick Lit.
40 Book ChallengeStudents are expected to read 40

Book Notes – a note to the teacher about books finished and in progress (2 required)
