INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Fill out the requested information on the tickets. Please note there is a line included on each ticket for you to designate

your basket of choice. You can use all of your tickets for one basket or use them for several different baskets.

2. Place the tickets in a SEALED envelope with your donation - cash or check (payable to Holy Trinity).

3. Bring sealed envelope to the church and deposit in the locked wooden box in the vestibule designat-

ed for Advent by Candlelight Gift Basket Raffle.

4. Claim your prize! Maybe! Winners will be announced at 9:00 p.m. Winners not present will be

contacted the following business day.

5. Prior to December 8 additional tickets may be purchased in the Faith Formation Office or can be

found on the table in the vestibule. Tickets will also be available for purchase the evening of Advent

by Candlelight (Actual baskets will be on display). For more information

The purpose of Advent by Candlelight is to set aside a special time to prepare our hearts for Christmas through the grace of Advent. The evening combines an inspirational message with practical applications, music, fine food and fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

ABOUT OUR GUEST SPEAKER, DR. MIKE SCHERSCHLIGT Who is Mike Scherschligt? Mike is the founder and the CEO/President of the Holy Family School of Faith. Mike has a Licentiate in Sacred Theology (STL) from the Marianum in Rome. Holy Family School of Faith is a public association of the faithful established by Archbishop Joseph Naumann, Archdiocese of Kan-sas City in Kansas, to form catholic school teachers, catechists and the faithful. In addition to our Catechism series, he is the author of the on-line series, Faith Foundations used to certify catechists throughout the United States. Mike and his wife Sandy have five children and reside in Overland Park, Kansas.

REGISTRATION This event is open to anyone who wishes to attend. It is not necessary to have been invited by a hostess. Many of our hostesses are offering all or several of the seats at their table to people who register through general reservations. BRINGING A DISH In order to make the burden lighter on the hostesses we will be asking each guest/couple to bring a table ready appetizer or hors d’oeuvre to share with their table. It will be up to each hostess to coordinate the menu for their table with their guests.

COST FOR THE EVENING There is no charge for the evening but one of the purposes of Advent by Candlelight is to raise money for the Adult Faith Formation ministry. We will accomplish this through the Gift Basket Raffle & Silent Auction.
