Missionary News Feb. 22, 2015
Our family is doing fantastic. We have adopted a 5 year old
boy whose mother came to faith at West Village, but died recently of cancer. His name is Lucas. His family is challenging the wishes of the mother so we are involved in a
court case Pray. It has been a challenge, but we believe that this is nothing compared to the cost that
was paid to adopt us into the family of God. As for West Village - things are going well. We are continually
growing. We have begun plans for our first church plant, and we are seeing many non-Christians
and new Christians in our community. On Sundays we have around 300 people and we are doing our best to disciple them so that they can be effective disciple makers. We are studying
the Apostle Paul's first letter to the Corinthians. The Corinthian Church was full of young, urban, educated, wealthy
Christians who were new to their faith in Jesus. The Apostle Paul writes a letter to
this young church trying to help them sort out what it looks like to be a community on mission in the midst of a liberal and pluralistic city.

Dear Friends of Camp, *Date Change
We would like to invite you to a dinner and silent auction to
help our Whispering Pines Camp get off to a great start this
year. Mark on your calendars, Saturday May 2nd at 5:30 pm.
We are looking for donations of artwork, tools, collectables,
antiques, or new items such as, small appliances or clothing.
We are looking for 100 items if possible.
