Interlude

Oo oo

Verse 1

The shepherds came to see the baby

Stood by His mother's side

Here laid the Savior inside a manger

Oh what a glorious night

Oh what a glorious night

Chorus

I hear the angels singin' hallelujah

Let the earth receive her King

I know that love has come sing it out

Jesus Christ is born

(I heard that) Jesus Christ is born

(Yeah yeah)

Verse 3

WUMC congregation, You are positively awesome! When we asked you to contribute toward a staff love gift, you amazed us with your response. It has been a tough year for staff, but your generous sharing of love raised spirits and replaced looks of weariness with smiles of appreciation. Thank you for being the kind-hearted, loving, responsive, and appreciative people God has called to serve at Center and Main. Merry Christmas! Staff-Parish Relations Committee

Dear Friends in Christ, Beverly and I want to thank you so very much for the genuinely unexpected and overwhelmingly generous Christmas gift we received from you, presented to us by the Staff Parish Relations Committee. It was so kind of you to contribute to this, especially in such of year of sacrifices, reversals and displacement, and more than a little grief and loss. Beverly and I long to see you again, face to face! (Even if we must begin more like mask to mask.) As for me, I long to be at your doors and amongst our families in coming days. But, for now, we'll continue to reach out via all the electronic and digital marvels of the age, the trusty telephone and the ever present links of love and prayer. A bless-ed Christmas to all, with eager hopes for a New Year that brings a New Day, Rev. Ken and Beverly Humbert

Dear Westminster Church Family, Yesterday, Ronnie Bohn stopped into the church office with gifts from our church family. She shared that early in November, the SPRC approached our congregation with this opportunity to collectively give a financial gift to our staff and she and the SPRC were blown away at your generosity. She shared how many of you expressed appreciation of the hard work of our staff throughout this past year and she expressed sincere thanks on your behalf. I am glad to say that because we have the caliber of staff that we do, we have been able to pivot repeatedly and continue to support the mission and ministry of our congregation. We also acknowledge that many of you have continued to serve faithfully in our community, which is so greatly appreciated by me. Together we make a great team. I just wanted to say to your expression of thanks that I want to say how very welcome I am of your generosity and recognition of the hard work of our staff. On behalf of the staff, Jack and myself, let me also say thank you for your continued support and activity in our faith community. Most of us will agree that this 2020 year has been one for the record books, one to put away and say farewell to a challenging year. And, may we pray for new opportunities in the coming new year. For now, God bless you all and in the midst of challenges bring us together in our Christmas Eve service (Join us, virtually, at 7pm on Dec 24). May I say in advance, to you and yours, do have a blessed and safe Christmas. Pastor Malcolm

Dear Congregation of WUMC

Thank you, from my heart, for your kind and generous gift—

made ever more precious by the circumstances of this past year.

I am humbled by your spirit of benevolence and feel honored to be a part of your family at

Westminster UMC.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a

Happy (& Healthy) New Year! With Love, Sherri Haines Administrative Assistant

Dear WUMC family, We are very appreciative of your generous gift to us this Christmas Season. We have both been through many personal issues as well as keeping the music flowing each and every week of the Pandemic. Your outpouring of love and support is valued each and every day. We are not out of the woods yet. We still need your prayers and words of encouragement. We need your voices and your gifts of every kind. We thank you for being our family, as we have grown to become over the last 35 years. We will continue to serve this congregation as we can, individually, together, and collectively. It will take us all; we need you all; for "In Our Music, God Is Glorified!” With Love in Christ, Peggy and Kyler Brengle

Westminster Family and Friends, I can’t begin to tell you how very blessed I felt to receive part of the Staff Christmas Love Offering. Your generosity has touched me beyond words – I am so grateful. May all of you and your families have a Joy-filled Christmas and a Blessed, Safe and Healthy New Year. Peace to you all and Many Thanks, Belinda Financial Secretary
