Wethepeople began making its mark on history

almost 15 years ago. Designing the first rough

drawings of their frames and forks around the

same time as the world started to see BMX in

a different light, a time when rails first got

grinded and the possibility that riding the

streets was in fact the true way forward.

THE SEED 16"JUNIOR SERIES

BMX is all about progression and

progression starts with the smallest

steps. The Seed is especially designed

for our little riders. The frame geom-

etry perfectly suits to the physical

constitution of kids and facilitates a

quick start into the “freestyle trick

world!” It comes with the appropri-

ate 25t/10t gearing, salt junior nylon/

fiberglass pedals and most importantly

a salt kid sized brake lever for those

petite fingers. Although the size is

different, not a single thing has been

compromised. You’ll notice the Seed

comes with an integrated headset, a

full bearing cassette hub and a

short offset stem. We also created a

unique 16” tire called the Strike from

salt, this is something you won’t find

anywhere else on the market. If you

can’t wait to ride a bigger boys bike

then don’t bother waiting, the Seed is

all you need to start.

THE SEED 16"JUNIOR SERIES

CHESTER BLACKSMITHI was twelve years of age when my parents first bought me a BMX

bike. Little did we both know, it would change my life forever!

After just a few days of having that bike, it suddenly gave me

a whole new sense of freedom and adventure. The feeling that

I got from knowing that I could just go ride with my friends,

go build jumps, cruise down to the skate parks or race tracks

and explore the little town I grew up in, was a huge thrill to

me at such a young age. I didn’t know it at the time, but I was

learning a lot about life, I was meeting new people, and see-

ing different places that most kids don’t see when they are that

age. Seventeen years on, I’ve made friends in every corner of

the globe, I’ve have been around the world more than a few times

and it’s all thanks to that first BMX bike.

You might be going for a ride around the block to take a few

runs at the park, or packing up for your first overseas

adventure, either way wethepeople has you covered. We’ve

spent years developing first-class BMX bikes with precision Ger-

man designs and geometry to make them the best BMX bikes on the

market. We continue to revitalize ourselves with new designs,

THE JUSTICEEXPERT SERIES

The Justice 20.5” and 21” make a last-

ing impression. Outstanding elegance is

the hallmark of its distinctive

appearance while the flawless black

design perfectly expresses their

treacherous souls. Including design

features from our pro level bikes, the

Justice is one of the most desired

bikes in our collection, and if you

thought it looked good last year then

watch out for 2012. The Justice 20.5”

and 21” both have a different handlebar

raise on each and both have

a tapered top tube with a 35mm outer

diameter at the head tube and a 33mm at

the seat tube, this in essence makes

the top tube super strong and is the

first complete bike of its kind with

a tapered top tube. Both versions come

impresses on every inch of concrete,

and embodies the pro bike concept

unlike any other BMX in the collection.

The Reason features full crmo main

tubes (top tube, down tube and chain

stays) on the frame (that is designed

with extraordinary expertise by

wethepeople), full crmo bars and forks,

170mm crank arm length and of course

a great selection of pro parts includ-

ing the éclat "Surge" nylon/fiberglass

pedals, éclat “Unify” fat padded seat,

double wall rim on the rear to and your

out all the stops with the Crysis.

They focused on the details and

sculpted a perfect looking BMX that is

absolutely 100% equipped for anything

so be ready to get bowled over by our

translucent green model which we think

THE VERSUSMASTER SERIES

As a brand that has always been at

the forefront of design and technology

it’s good for us to have fun by keeping

things interesting and diverse. In 2012

we split the design fundamentals of the

Versus straight down the middle. First

we have the black glossy version,

featuring all black glossy frame, forks

and even rims. Then on the flip side we

have the matt version, which as you

can imagine has a fully matt finished

frame and forks but also features matt

hubs and rims, a design process that

took some real attention but like in

everything, it’s the little things that

count. The Versus carries a full crmo

frameset package with removable brake

pivots, sealed front hub and cassette,

éclat “Unify” seat, saltplus hinged “Geo”

brake lever, 25t – 9t gearing (ideal

gearing to accompany 170mm cranks),

saltplus “Echo” full CNC alloy sprocket,

The Trust is a favorite amongst

riders and reviewers alike and it’s

no surprise, the quality is what

the industry has grown to expect with

wethepeople. This year we have worked

harder than ever as we hunted down a

perfect and beautiful colour way to

after searching we decided on a sweet

translucent look that simply blows

After we had designed the Zodiac we did

wonder if we had just designed one

of the most desirable BMX bikes ever,

the new graphics compliment the fault-

less geometry perfectly in a match

that was made to be. You are truly

spoilt for choice with the Zodiac;

tensioner and butted/tapered down

There’s something about Mexico City that I’m drawn to. It’s

always been in my mind, maybe it’s been in all our minds and

it was fate that one day wethepeople would visit it. It’s a

muggy, congested, cramped and run down city. Nothing is

going to be like you imagined, no perfect ten step handrail

with flush concrete run up, instead its most definitely going

to have a horrible kink, a missing step and a few hundred

kids sleeping under it.

With all this in mind, Mexico wasn’t going to put us off. In March 2011 Chester Blacksmith lead a small intrepid group

(Maxime, Max, Sam, Markus, Andrew) to the third largest city

in the world and somehow managed to navigate them through hell

to uncover some of the best spots in the world.

The all-new Envy reflects a vision that

idea of extravagance. The Envy is a

stunning display of bicycle design,

It’s safe to say that a wethepeople

20” BMX was never designed for sit-

ting down on, they are designed for

tricks and to withstand full on street
