On June 4, 2019 the Leadership Council adopted significant changes (effectiveimmediately) in the rental and cleaning rates for the facilities of Wake Forest BaptistChurch. Over three years of experience with the new Fellowship Hall and Adult EducationWing have led to several changes in rates and policies. There are three primary reasonsfor making these changes at this time: 1. The rates quoted or previously charged to members have been proven to be too highin several situations leading to frustration and many requests for exceptions.

2. It is important that our published rates policies better reflect our actual practices.

Page 5: WFBC - Wake Forest Baptist Church...Bible study on HOSEA: Unfailing Love Changes Everything by Jennifer Rothschild. We will study together the message of the prophet of love. Hosea

3. In the interest of fairness it is important that all policies be observed more consistently.4. The large quantity of exceptions being made has not been an effective use of the time and resources of theWFBC staff. Here are the highlights of the change: 1. The “member” category has been expanded to include approved non-profit and community partners.2. Member rates have been reduced in several significant places.3. Non-member/business use rates remain the same.4. All events will be charged the same basic custodial fee. If the event requires a “non-scheduled” cleaning thenthese monies will be used to compensate the custodial staff. If additional cleanings are not required then thesefunds will be allocated toward the appropriate maintenance budget account.5. Refundable deposits will be required of all individuals and groups using the facilities. It is our desire that the facilities of Wake Forest Baptist Church will continue to have a positive impact for Christfor our members and for the community. The revised rate schedule is available on the church website facilityrental page under “Resources” or from the church office. Any questions about the new rates should beaddressed to Denise Stinson, Bryant Moxley, or Deborah Moye.

RealChurchWhy Bible Study?

As followers of Jesus, we need one another to help us grow in faith. In the context of life-giving community, we share and learn from each person's unique experiences andunderstandings of God as we explore Scripture together. We develop authentic friendships in which people care for one another, rejoicing when one rejoices, andweeping when one weeps.Life-giving community is where the church begins to share its mission of hope, expressing the love andgrace of God made known to us in Jesus.Bible study and worship are interconnected.

Quote of the WeekLove is or it ain't. Thin love ain't love at all.
