Most of us think of USA Todaywhen we think of infographics, and

some argue that the USA Todaymade infographics popular since

the papers 1982 inception.

But what we now call infographics has been around for most ofhuman history. Think of cave paintings, pictographs, hieroglyphics,

etc.

NASAs Voyager space probe carries info-diagrams in case it was

found by other life forms.

Infographics have changed as media has changed. They can contain

sound and video, be in 3-D, or interactive. It just depends on needs.
