Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) is the capacity

planning that a company performs when planning

for the long-term future.

The master production schedule must be designed in such a way

that it does not over plan more than its resources can produce.  

Managers receive their direction from the master production

schedule, and delegate the responsibilities to be accomplished

among the various employees in order to accomplish what is on

the Master Production Schedule.

 

The workers receive direction from managers to know what

resources to use. The are responsible for performing the labor

required to produce the goods dictated by the managers.  

Resources are the materials, tools and machinery that the workers

and managers use in order to produce goods and services.

 

Goods and service are made by the worker and managers.

The goods and services are used to make money.
