Differences Between 5105 DVDP and 5.2 DV
§ 5105 has both Dynamic Views and Dynamic Profiling while 5.2 only has Dynamic Views. Profiling has been enhanced with a new Save interface
§ 5105 used a DVDP Configuration Utility installed on the administrator workstation while 5.2 uses the DM Webtop for Dynamic Views configuration and administration
§ Additional security enhancements have been added to the 5.2 DV including security at any subscription level
§ 5.2 supports multiple Dynamic Views

Differences Between 5105 DVDP and 5.2 DV
§ 5.2 supports a multilingual environment at all levels
§ 5.2 allows for grouping at each level for shorter display lists in the All Node
§ DM 5105 DVDP tables must be manually created and set up through scripts run against the database, in 5.2 it is built into Library Generation
§ 5105 clients must install DV and DP separately from the main deployment package and 5.2 can be installed with the client’s deployment package
§ 5.2 subscription levels can start with the child level

API Enhancements
§ The DM API is based on the Component Object Model (COM), developers using the DM API use COM-enabled languages, such as Visual Basic, Visual C++, and ASP, to create their applications. § The 5.2 release will include Primary Interop
Assemblies (PIA”S) to support development in the .NET development languages.
