tables set up in Westgate Circle April 22, 2014 from 10a.m.- 2p.m. if you would like to set up

Have you renewed your Student Organizationon Orgsync!? Early renewal for all organizations is
April 30. Final date of renewal for all organizations is May 15. First 25 student organizations will receive an
amount granted from the Legacy Fund.Contact Ellyse Sanchez

We are calling all organizations that are interested in taking part in the event of either giving out items or selling them. The student center will be giving away free chips and salsa. In the past, organizations have sold/given away snow cones, mexican candy, water, aguas frescas, tacos, etc.
If you are interested, please email Valerie Pena ([email protected]) as soon as possible so you can secure your table and item(s) of choice. Should you have any additional questions, call Valerie Pena or Ricardo Sanchez in the student center at 210-‐841-‐7360.

What is The Big Give S.A.?
The Big Give S.A. is a 24-hour online giving event that will take place from midnight to midnight on May 6, 2014.
The purpose of this community-wide giving challenge is to increase public awareness of the impact local nonpro!ts make in addressing our community’s social challenges, bring nonpro!ts and donors together, expand the idea of online giving, connect people to the causes that move them the most and, of course, make giving FUN.
By turning giving into a shared city-wide experience, we can signi!cantly impact the future of San Antonio and collectively move our city forward.
The goals of The Big Give S.A. are to:
INVEST strategically in San Antonio nonpro!ts
DRIVE the community forward through collective impact
LEVERAGE giving with matching funds and prize incentives
How does a charity participate in
The Big Give S.A.?Any registered 501(c)(3) organization in Bexar County is welcome to participate in The Big Give S.A.
To qualify, the nonpro!t must !ll out a free pro!le at www.thebiggivesa.org. Registration closes April 11, 2014. There is not a fee to participate. Nonpro!ts will be reviewed for eligibility.
An eligible organization will have one pro!le at www.thebiggivesa.org. While the organizational description can include all of the agency’s programs and services, donors cannot designate or restrict their donations to a particular program. Each participating nonpro!t is eligible for matching funds and prize incentives.

How do individuals participate in
The Big Give S.A.?On May 6, visit www.thebiggivesa.org to make a donation to a participating organization(s).
All donations on May 6 give your favorite nonpro!t the opportunity to earn matching funds and prize incentives. This means that your gift has the capacity to leverage additional funding.
You can give by phone, tablet, or computer. The minimum donation is $10. There is not a maximum donation. There are standard credit card, processing and management fees.
The exciting aspect of this event is the opportunity for nonpro!ts to earn prize money and matching funds. These additional funds increase the nonpro!t’s total to cover the associated costs.
