What’s The Word September 29, 2014 It’s a great day to be alive and be a cardinal! Cardinals, Homecoming is right around the corner. Don’t forget to nominate a campus leader, campus role model, or someone who you feel would represent our UIW campus well. Applications are due October 1, 2014 VIA Orgsync. Interested in going Greek? Freshman, you are invited to our first set of workshops designed just for you to learn the in’s and out’s of Greek life at UIW. Attend both workshops and you will be entered into a raffle for $50 for new member dues. It is almost that time for Fall break, midterms and end of the year finals. There are many resources at UIW to help you prepare for those tests that you might not be 100% confident about! The Learning Assitance Center is located in the AD building 2nd floor and is available to all students! The Office of Campus Life wishes you the best of luck. Till next week cardinals! Volunteers Needed!Woodridge Carnival at Woodridge Elementary School Carnival Friday, October 24, from 3-6pm.  

Volunteers are needed to help with the food and game booths. Shifts: 2:30-4pm, 4-5pm, and 5-6:30pm.  

Woodridge Carnival is the largest fundraiser for Woodridge Elementary School in Alamo Heights ISD. This year our primary goal is to raise money for technology in the classroom and library, and updating our school library with new books.

Attention Students with AT Parking Permits:

The parking lot will be open for use on Monday September 15th. As a recipient of the ‘AT’ parking decal you will not be allowed to park on the main campus Monday – Thursday (8am-5pm); Campus Police will start issuing parking ticket around the September 18th  to those that are still parking on main campus.

For your convenience there will be shuttle service throughout the day – as of now the shuttle is scheduled to run 6:30am to 8pm

Please note that night time parking is prohibited.
