“We bought up our three children here and it gave them the most wonderful childhood. They camped in the garden, played in the garden, explored the fields, and now the grandchildren are doing the same. You look out and all you can see is rolling countryside; it’s just beautiful here.”

A handsome five bedroom detached period house situated in
0.25 of an acre in an idyllic and quiet location surrounded by open
Warwickshire countryside.
A genuinely rare opportunity to purchase this mid 17th Century
family home that has been modernised and refurbished by the current
owners. Historically, forming part of the Denbigh Estate, White Cottage
is situated in an enviable non-estate location with fabulous views across
rolling farmland. The property has been thoughtfully modernised and
adapted over time and offers a versatile family home over three floors
with much character remains with typically low ceilings! Outside there
is covered parking in the courtyard, a garage/workshop, parking for
five/six vehicles and a summerhouse. The benefits include: traditional
oak leaded light single glazed windows, oil fired central heating and a
Rayburn in the kitchen. There are well maintained formal gardens, the
total plot is around 0.25 of an acre.overviewWhite Cottage PAGES_v4.indd 3 24/06/2015 09:33

“Before we purchased White Cottage more than thirty years ago we were living just a few miles away,” says Barry. “I used to fish near the house and had always
admired it and its spectacular setting, so when
it came up for sale my wife and I jumped at the
chance to own it.”

“Barry has put an awful lot of work into renovating the house over the years,” says Carol, “but everything has been done in keeping with the style and history of the building. We’ve brought
it up to modern standards, but it still has a very traditional look and feel.”
